In 2011, Sharpey co-founded an adventure day tour business in Brisbane alongside Nicole Were, aiming to introduce the youth and backpacker sector to Brisbane’s Moreton Bay and Islands. Each year, thousands of guests still visit Tangalooma with Adventure Moreton Island under the Tangatours brand.
